First in the spotlight, Pedro Menchaca, who continues to be a threat to opposition's defense, amassing an astonishing 115 yards on just 15 carries against Nikki Rowe! Pedro's speed and power are a sight to behold, and he's a true game-changer, leading the charge towards victory.
But that's not all, our defensive POW, Emilio Batres was a force with an impressive 13 total tackles and 3 assists. Emilio's relentless pursuit of excellence on the field sets a standard for all.
And let's not forget Jose Williams, who lit up the Special Teams with a big hit that energized our team. Jose's unwavering hustle and heart are the embodiment of the spirit of our team.
Despite the challenging start to the season, our Huskies on the field showcased incredible heart and hustle, leaving everything they had out there. They are now gearing up for the ultimate challenge next week against Mc Hi (BYE WEEK this week), and we can't wait to witness the redemption story in the making!
