TIA

La Joya ISD recently hosted a celebration honoring 243 educators who earned designations through the Texas Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) program. The ceremony, held at the La Joya ISD Performing Arts Center, showcased the district’s commitment to recognizing teacher excellence and elevating educational outcomes.

La Joya ISD proudly celebrated our Teacher Incentive Allotment recipients as they received their awards! Across the district, 80 teachers achieved Recognized status, 117 earned Exemplary, and 46 reached Master a reflection of their outstanding impact in the classroom and their commitment to student success.

In total, $3,138,458 was distributed to honor these educators for their dedication and excellence. The Teacher Incentive Allotment, established under House Bill 3, provides financial rewards to teachers who consistently demonstrate high levels of effectiveness, particularly those in high-need and hard-to-staff areas. Designations are determined based on a rigorous evaluation process and student academic growth.

The TIA Celebration wasn’t just about awards it was about showing appreciation. Thank you to every educator who continues to go above and beyond for our students. Your passion, effort, and excellence are the foundation of La Joya ISD’s Legacy of Excellence.
