Smashing Pumpkins - Blood Spatter Lab

Students in Ms. Peña's forensics class designed their own experiments in order to analyze blood spatter. Many filled pumpkins with a variety of blood substitues before smashing them with bats and hammers, plotting and measuring the locations and sizes of the "blood" for comparison against known data. This information was then used in a classroom debate to determine the fate of a suspected killer.
